About Forest Coin Trail

Forest Coin Trail is the combo game. Instead of scattering coins into pockets, every level lays them out as a single continuous trail that winds from the start to the exit — up over the platforms, down through the gaps, along the ground. Because the combo window here is only 1.8 seconds, the shortest of any platformer on the site, leaving the trail for even a moment costs you the multiplier you have been building. The whole game is a tension between completing the sweep and doing it fast enough to keep the streak.

How to play

  1. Move and jump normally. There is no double jump.
  2. The coins form one continuous line. Following it is both the route and the scoring strategy.
  3. The combo window is 1.8 seconds. Missing two or three coins in a row will break your streak.
  4. Three lives. Losing one resets you to the level start, and resets your combo.
  5. Two levels. Clearing the second one finishes the run.

How to collect coins in Forest Coin Trail

The trail is designed so that following it at a steady running pace, jumping where the trail rises, keeps you in continuous contact with coins. Gems sit directly on the trail rather than off it, so you never have to choose between the gem and the streak. The Bonus Trail power-up temporarily lays a second line of tokens ahead of you, which is the most reliable way to bridge the one genuinely long gap in each level.

Collectibles in this game

Collectible types and values
CollectibleWhat it is worth
CoinsThe baseline collectible, worth one unit of value.
GemsWorth ten coins and counts double toward the combo streak.

Every coin here is virtual. Coins, gems, tokens and treasure in this game are in-game collectibles with a point value inside the game and no monetary value of any kind. They cannot be bought, sold, exchanged or withdrawn, and this site has no currency system.

Power-ups in Forest Coin Trail

Power-ups appear during a run and activate the moment you touch one. None of them can be bought, none carry over between runs, and collecting one you already have refreshes its duration rather than stacking it.

  • MagnetPulls nearby coins, tokens and gems toward you for seven seconds. Treasure chests are never affected.
  • Double ValueDoubles the value of every collectible for eight seconds. Applies before the combo multiplier, so the two stack.
  • Bonus TrailLays a short line of high-value bonus tokens ahead of you.

How scoring works

Coins are worth 11 points before multipliers — slightly lower than the other platformers, because the trail layout means you collect far more of them. The scoring is designed so a 6x streak run beats a complete but broken sweep.

Points for each pickup are its base value, multiplied by any active double-value effect, multiplied by your current combo tier. Distance and completion bonuses are awarded flat, outside that chain.

The combo system

The combo window is 1.8 seconds with tiers at 8, 18, 30, 46 and 66, and a 6x ceiling. Those tier thresholds are much higher than elsewhere because the trail gives you a much higher collection rate.

Medium. Finishing the level is easy; finishing with the streak intact is not. The difficulty label reflects completion, not mastery.

Tips for a better score

  • Run at a constant pace. Stopping to line up a jump is the single most common way runs lose their streak.
  • The trail rises where you need to jump and dips where you need to drop. Trust the shape of it rather than looking at the platforms.
  • If you break the streak, do not panic-chase. Rebuild from the next trail section rather than backtracking.
  • The Bonus Trail power-up is worth saving for the long gap in the middle of each level, which is the one place the trail genuinely breaks.
  • Losing a life resets the combo, so late deaths cost far more here than in the other platformers.

Features

  • Coins form one unbroken trail from start to exit
  • The tightest combo window of any platformer here, at 1.8 seconds
  • Bonus Trail power-up available
  • Two levels, three lives
  • A 6x multiplier ceiling reachable in a single clean run

Forest Coin Trail — frequently asked questions

Why is the combo window so short?

Because the coin trail is continuous, a normal window would make the maximum multiplier automatic. The short window is what makes it an achievement.

Do I have to collect every coin?

No, the exit is always open. But since the coins are the route, skipping them mostly means taking a harder path for less reward.

Are these coins worth money?

No. They are virtual in-game collectibles used for scoring. There is no currency involved.

What is the highest multiplier I can reach?

6x, at 66 coins in the streak. It is reachable in a single clean level with room to spare if you do not break the trail.
